.Over the last couple of decades, the average return on gold has been around 7%. Thus our informed guess is that in the near future it will be in the same ball-park. I don’t know about you but that’s enough peace-of-mind for me. Enough of a hedge against economic turmoil to have me sleep easier o’ nights.
